Kava Kava Tincture

Kava Kava, also known as Piper methysticum, is a root that originated in the Pacific Islands. It was used in burial ceremonies after someone dies and as a ceremonial beverage in Europe. It is still used commonly throughout the Pacific Islands in social gatherings and recreationally.

This herb contains may phytochemical that help it facilitate its healthful actions called, kavalactones. Kava Kava root is known for its natural relaxation qualities and support while coping with stress.

A tincture is substance that contains an herbal medicine in an alcohol solution. The herbs are soaked, shaken, and carefully strained from grain alcohol. This creates a strong solution of the extracted active nutrients from plants to form a concentrated liquid. This solution is then consumed because of its medicinal properties and easily absorbed into the bloodstream.

 Dosage:

• Shake bottle well, open and squeeze the dropper bulb
• 1 droppers full, 2-5X a day
• Release the recommended serving (as per each label) into at least 2 oz of water or juice
• For the best results, repeat this process as directed by the Suggested Use instructions on the product label.
• A single “dropper full” in a standard tincture bottle is around 1 ml, and a teaspoon is 5 ml.
• This tincture can also be taken straight without water. However, it is recommended that you dilute it in 4 - 6 oz of water, tea (iced or hot), or juice.
